Not less than seven people were killed after an attack by Taliban on a district headquarter in Afghanistan's southern Uruzgan province,says official.
The Chief Administrative Officer in khas Uruzgan district,Kareem Karimi,says that five police officers,a former district chief and a school principal were among those who lost their lives in the monday pre-dawn attack.
Confirming hopefully,he said despite the limited numbers of police officer at hand in the district,the authorities is still in control,but could loose it if reinforcements fails to come on time.
Taliban spokesman,Qari Yousaf Ahmed said in a statement that they're responsible for the attack on Khas Uruzgan.
