The Islamic State fighters has finally succeeded in taken the key military base in wester Iraq on sunday.
And the development has prompted the prime Minister,Haider al-Abadi to call for the immediate deployment of Shi'ite paramilitaries to take bake the mainly Sunni province from the militants.
The security forces stationed at the base said they had to pull out of the base after it came under heavy attack by the insurgents who got them trapped in an area to the west of the city of Ramadi.
A security officer who does not want his name mentioned said the insurgents through a loudspeaker asked the security forces to drop down their weapons with a promise of safty if they obey.
